Olivia Bampfylde brings the past to life through exceptional storytelling, rigorous research, and engaging audio-visual interpretation.

A former BBC senior producer, she specialises in research-led content creation for the heritage sector. Experienced in working with museums and cultural institutions, she develops AV interpretation that informs and moves audiences, from short films to large-scale immersive multimedia installations.

Combining rigorous research with creative flair and strong project management skills, she works closely with curators and design teams to turn complex stories into compelling experiences.

Currently in production, this immersive AV experience is part of the Horniman Museum’s major Nature + Love redevelopment. Contributing as a producer, I’m supporting the creation of multiple installations; overseeing editing, researching archive material, and helping to shape engaging, inclusive content

A film presented by Brenda Emmanus, OBE showcasing West Norwood Cemetery’s social history and how it serves the local community today. I produced and directed the shoot and shaped the narrative arc from initial treatment through to final edit.

Brockwell Hall

Managed the delivery of AV installation for the restored Brockwell Hall. Oversaw production timelines, coordinated between creative and curatorial teams, and ensured final delivery was to brief, on time and within budget.

Newhaven Fort

Created accessible and engaging scripts for AV elements within a major exhibition update at Newhaven Fort. Worked closely with curators and designers to distill complex wartime histories into emotionally resonant visitor experiences.
